Offering Message - Give Out Of Blessing

Short Offering Message

Give Out Of Blessing - Deuteronomy 16:17

Main Verse - Deuteronomy 16:17

GIVE OUT OF THE BLESSING OF THE LORD

Plain Truth: We may not all have the same abundance or blessing. However, that doesn’t mean we should not give to the Lord. Our responsibility to give is not based upon what others do (give) but out of what God has blessed us with.

THE EXPECTATION OF GIVING

A. Every man shall give - Every person is expected to give

B. Every person is expected to give as he is able

  • What one can give may not be what another can give

  • Some will give more, some will give less

  • Don’t look to others (look to God) for what you give

  • The giver (in direction from God) determines what he gives

C. Every person is to give out of the blessings they have received

D. God is the source of it all

PRACTICALITIES OF GIVING

A. Before you come and bring your tithe/offering (pray and ask God what you should give).

B. When you give. Thank Him for the ability. Thank Him for the finances to give. Do it with honour and worship in your heart.

C. Give in faith with expectation.

Romans 10:14-15 - How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”
