5 MIN OFFERING – LEVITICUS 27:30

Main Verse – Leviticus 27:30 - Every tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the trees, is the LORD's; it is holy to the LORD.

MAIN THOUGHT

This verse reminds us that our offerings are not merely financial transactions but sacred acts of worship. By dedicating our tithe, we acknowledge that all we have is God's and set apart our resources as holy, reflecting our commitment to His kingdom.

PRACTICAL POINTS

Honor God’s Ownership: Recognize that every blessing comes from God. Your tithe is a declaration that all you have is His, and giving back recognizes and honors His provision.

Dedicate to the Divine: When you set aside a portion of your income, you are consecrating it for God’s work, making your giving an act of worship and obedience.

Trust in His Provision: Faithful giving is an expression of trust. As you honor God with your resources, you affirm your faith in His promise to provide abundantly.

PRACTICALITIES OF GIVING

A. Before you come and bring your tithe/offering (pray and ask God what you should give).

B. When you give. Thank Him for the ability. Thank Him for the finances to give. Do it with honor and worship in your heart.

C. Give in faith with expectation.

CONCLUSION

In summary, Leviticus 27:30 calls us to view our tithe as a holy offering to the LORD. By honoring His ownership, dedicating our resources, and trusting in His provision, we participate in an act of worship that blesses both our lives and His Kingdom.
